Breakfast can be served in the formal dining room or the farm house style kitchen.
Guests feast on local produce, organic when possible. Specialist butchers sausages, free range eggs and home baked bread using stone ground flour from Heatherslaw Mill, just down the road . (Go and watch it being milled!) Or , for a change the locally smoked salmon and scrambled eggs may tempt . Freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade preserves are always available along with a selection of teas. |

The Cheviot Hills and the unspoilt Northumberland coast are within easy reach. Holy Island, the seat of Christianity in this country and Bamburgh Castle will be on most visitors list to visit. Miles of breathtaking beaches are waiting to be explored.
Edinburgh lies just 54 miles away and a day trip can easily be undertaken. |
